We live very close to the link to the Skyline walk from Claverton Down Road and walk regularly through the woods. At the moment we find the paths too muddy for a quick walk so today we walked along the road past the large meadow opposite Ralph Allen School and the Sulis Club. We were quite shocked to see the rough way in which the woody growth near to the wall of the field has been hacked off but also disappointed to find that the debris had all been left on the pavement so that we were walking through it. We enjoy the woods and the meadow all year round and want to see them at their best. Is the debris going to be left or are there plans to clear it up? A minor point also is that the walkers carry a lot of mud from the woods on their boots and this has reached as far as the pavement outside our house. However, I expect the rain will wash it away – indeed it isn’t as bad as it has been – and I know you are trying to lay a surface on the path to stop this.

I would really appreciate a respose about the debris. Thank you.

Hi my name is maisie and i am 7. I know why the tawny owl’s are different colours – its because the one who is darker is older and the one that is lighter is the young one.
